Homemade Pizza

We made some homemade pizza's the other day and it was a lot of fun. Megan worked and worked her dough and somehow ended up with a stocking shape.
Joel was showing off his skills by tossing his pizza in the air. I was showing off my skills by catching it on camera.
The kids could not wait to taste their creations... of course here we are only pre-baking the dough.
Time for toppings!
I guess I didn't get a picture of the end results but they were delicious... besides, making them was the real fun!

the past few months...

We headed over to San Francisco a couple Saturday's ago. The kids really enjoyed watching the sea lions.
Megan is my picky eater and so I always have to cut the crust off her sandwich at lunch. I felt like I was wasting so much bread, until Joel suggested I put the crust in a freezer bag each day and when we fill the bag we will go feed the ducks.
One Sunday afternoon we headed up to a cute little park in Auburn where there is a nice big pond and a lot of ducks. Megan and Austin loved feeding them... Ethan loved watching from a distance. The ducks were a little aggressive.
One morning while Joel was working on his laptop, Austin got the idea he wanted to work with daddy. He dragged the little table out of Megan's room and a folding chair into my room and set up his "Leap top" (a Christmas gift from the Cosentino's- big thanks). It was so cute. He thought he was such a big boy.
Oh yeah, and I had a birthday... but we don't need to talk about that. Austin has really got the hang of blowing out birthday candles though. It's hard to hold him back until the end of the song.
