CAN HE FIX IT?... YES HE CAN!

I have to say I am pretty proud of my handyman. Saturday our dryer quit, just would not start no matter what I did. So Joel jumped online with the model number, got a few ideas, opened it up, ran to Sears... about 1 hour and $15 dollars later my dryer is running like the day we brought it home. I don't know if it his love of "saving a buck" or need to be "the man of the house", but so far he has fixed our garbage disposal, washing machine, bathroom fan, installed all our appliances and now the dryer. Now if I could just get him to put his plate in the dishwasher...

Game Day

There are many important days in a babies first year when we pick out special outfits in order to dress them up to fit the occasion. For example, his blessing day, first Christmas...

first Texas bowl game...

Unfortunately it was a disappointing game even with their #1 fan routing (and drooling) for them.
So we started potty training Megan this week. We decided to stop diapers, cold turkey, and go straight to panties. She has done great! She figured it out the first day and hasn't looked back since. A few weeks ago she wouldn't even sit on the potty and now she spends so much time there she actually took a little snooze. She has only had one accident and has already gone #2 a couple of time. Any mom who has gone through this knows that can be quite an accomplishment, especially in the first week. Go Megan!

Christmas

Ethan and Megan had a great Christmas. Ethan loves to build and create and got all the right stuff for that. As for Megan... well... she is definitely our little princess.

It's amazing that Santa knew Austin needed a new car seat!

Unfortunately this is the best picture we got of the three of them on Christmas Eve. Here is our Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus in a mega saucer acting out the first Christmas.
