Well, Joel turned 30 on Friday! We had a little cake and some gifts at home with the kids then his mom came up on the train that evening and gave him the best gift he (we) could ask for... at night away, just the two of us. I am embarrassed to admit that we have not been away without the kids since we had them. We won't let 4 years go by again.
Saturday morning we headed to San Francisco. We fall in love with this city all over again everytime we visit. We even ran into a few celebs while we were there.
Ha ha, just kidding, but we did enjoy the Wax Museum. Neither of us had been before; it is a lot of fun.

How fun!! Jeff and I did that when he turned 30 last year. We just went up to Salt Lake and stayed at a really cool bed and breakfast, saw the Joseph Smith movie, went shopping and of course to a Jazz game!!Even though it was just Salt Lake City, it was so fun. We need to do that again, maybe when Claire is a little older!!!
